BIO:

A former elite level boxer having competed since 2006, Dan has boxed at state, national, & international level. Dan has spent time abroad training and competing in Cuba with both the junior & senior national team, and has been fortunate enough to work with some renowned coaches within Australia and abroad. Dan has guided many boxers from as young as 11 years old through the boxing pathways and has produced many results as a coach. Dan is a former Boxing Australia regional development coach and current Boxing WA board member, and is actively invested in the development of boxing here in WA.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Cert III Fitness

  • Cert IV Fitness

  • AIF master trainer level 1

  • AIBA Level 1 Coach (Boxing Australia)

  • AIBA Level 2 Coach (Boxing Australia)

BIO:

Dan has spent over 20 years as a member of the combat sports community. Working his way through the ranks competing at a professional level in Muay Thai & boxing both here in Australia and overseas.

Since retiring from competition Dan has turned himself into a passionate and hard working trainer who thrives on helping his clients achieve their individual goals .

BIO:

Jake is a competitive boxer for Ringfit. Having competed since 2014, he has a passion for health, boxing and strength and conditioning. After taking the plunge and entering the coaching scene himself he has enjoyed a different aspect of training and helping others. Jake believes in the long term sustainability of exercise into your life’s routine and also having a strong body for life’s daily activities. Jake enjoys teaching the sweet science of boxing that he has grown to love over the years.

DAPHNE DEN BOER

BIO:

Daphne is a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer through The Australian Institute of Fitness and has been in the fitness industry since 2016. 

She is a passionate and energetic trainer who throughout her career has helped many clients lose body fat, put on muscle mass, tone up and improve their overall health. She believes that fitness is not only amazing for your physical health, but also your mental health. After living with and overcoming anxiety and depression herself,  Daphne started her own business called ‘The Mood Lifter’ in 2017 to break the stigma surrounding mental health disorders and to help others with anxiety and depression through exercise.

ASH BARRESE

BIO:

Ashlee is a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer through the Western Australian Fitness Academy.

Whilst studying her bachelor of Human Resource Management she realised her keen interest in human behaviour, specifically responses to intrinsic and extrinsic motivators and how these can affect people achieving their personal goals. She believes in a holistic approach to wellness and considers herself extremely privileged to be able to impart her knowledge on others and stand alongside clients throughout their individual journeys.

Personally, Ashlee engages in various forms of exercise from functional training to cross-fit, hiking and yoga, which means that her classes and sessions are programmed in a very unique and engaging manner. Ashlee is particularly interested in helping clients through various changes or challenges in their lives, such as pregnancy, post-partum, physical and mental rehabilitation and self-esteem/confidence issues.

In 2019 she started her own company called ‘The Wellness Muse’  which aims to share her knowledge on all things health, fitness, wellness and travel, and inspire others to adopt small changes in their lives to increase their overall wellness.
